How to Reach Your Launch Income Goal Without Being Overloaded With Marketing Tasks
Jan 30, 2025MARKETING LAUNCH STRATEGY
Launching a new product, course or service is one of the most exciting moments for a business owner.
With this excitement, often comes a mountain of marketing tasks that can feel overwhelming.
If you’re constantly juggling content creation, email campaigns, social media posts, and ad management, it’s easy to lose sight of your ultimate goal: hitting your income target.
The good news? Despite what the gurus tell you, you don’t have to do it all! By leveraging smart strategies and automation, you can strategically reach your launch income goal without being buried under a pile of marketing tasks.
KNOW HOW MUCH WEBSITE TRAFFIC YOU NEED
The reality is that you need 100 visitors to your website to make two sales on average.
Where most business owners fall short is failing to get enough traffic to their website or landing page to hit their desired revenue goal.
It’s a super easy calculation. Download our free traffic calculator to determine the figure.
You can then use your website analytics or Google Analytics to find out how much traffic you’re currently getting to your website every month to work out the difference between your goal traffic number and actual traffic number.
More often than not, you need a lot more traffic than you think. A WHOLE lot more!
Then you can create a traffic plan to hit your revenue goal.
Warning: don’t focus on social media, it is very slow moving. Use our free guide to help you determine where you’re currently getting the best return for your marketing investment.
Here are our tips for reaching your launch income goal minus the marketing overload.
1. FOCUS ON HIGH-IMPACT MARKETING STRATEGIES
Instead of trying to do everything, prioritise the marketing strategies that deliver the highest ROI (and can be accomplished in a shorter amount of time).
A great place to start is by looking at the top people in your industry and seeing where they focus their time, energy and spend.
For example: as a course creator I know Amy Porterfield invests most of her efforts in a content channel (podcast), a social media channel (Instagram), email marketing, affiliate marketing and Meta Ads to scale fast.
Amy has been at it for a long time so will know what works best.
As a result, I have closely followed suit in a way that aligns with the goals I want to achieve, the lifestyle I desire and the resources I have available.

You can also ask ChatGPT using a prompt like: Where does [insert brand] focus their marketing?

Don’t get bogged down trying to do everything. Choose tactics that will help you reach your goal faster.
2. STREAMLINE YOUR CONTENT CREATION PROCESS
Batch create your content and use templates to save time.
Having pre-made designs for graphics, emails, and social posts ensures a cohesive look and reduces decision fatigue during your launch.
For example: for all my Instagram Reels covers I use the same template. Take a look here. They are simple and easy-to-read so any visitors can immediately find the content they are looking for and understand what our brand is all about.
In addition, I don’t have to spend hours stressing over a design. Keep it simple.

When it comes to creating content, I personally create a months worth of blogs and email campaigns at once. Then I’ll create my social media content weekly. That way I can review what is working and create more content like it without leaving too much time in between.
3. AUTOMATE WHERE POSSIBLE
Automation tools like email marketing platforms and scheduling posts in app can help save you hours of time. Automate your workflows to ensure consistent communication with your audience while reducing manual effort.
I use Kajabi and schedule my email campaigns once a month. I create all my social media posts weekly and when I know I’ll be busy, I schedule the post in Instagram itself. When it does post, I do my best to engage before and after that time to ensure maximum reach.
Leverage Meta Ads when you’re ready to scale. It’s an easy, automated way to grow your leads and webinar registrations in the background whilst you focus on what you’re passionate about. Why do you think all the big brands focus on it?!
4. SET BOUNDARIES TO AVOID BURN-OUT
Launch periods can feel all-consuming. Set clear working hours, delegate tasks to experts or virtual assistants where possible and avoid overcommitting to every opportunity that arises.
It took me years to finally get hired help but when I did, I wondered why I’d waited so long. You can progress faster with others completing the mundane or challenging tasks on your behalf.
Overall, when it comes to your marketing, focus on reaching your traffic and sales targets and on the tasks that align with those goals and let go of the rest.
5. PRIORITISE META ADS FOR FAST RESULTS
Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) are one of the most effective tools for reaching your audience quickly and efficiently. (and hitting your traffic goals). Instead of spreading yourself thin across multiple channels, focus on creating high-performing Meta Ads campaigns that deliver results.
-
Precision Targeting: Use Meta’s advanced targeting features to reach your ideal audience based on demographics, interests, and behaviours.
-
Scalable Reach: Meta Ads allow you to scale your campaigns quickly to reach more people without additional manual effort.
-
Cost-Effectiveness: When optimised, Meta Ads can deliver a high return on investment (ROI) by attracting qualified leads straight into your sales funnel.
Let me take you through how Meta Ads can help you reach your traffic and sales goal faster.
If you need 500 people to see your website to reach your monthly or launch revenue goal, social media and other organic marketing are likely only going to contribute a very small percentage to this (check your Google Analytics for these figures and it’ll very likely back this up).
Meta Ads will speed this process up, increasing your visitors numbers astronomically fast.
By prioritising Meta Ads, you can reduce the need for time-intensive organic marketing efforts and instead achieve game-changing results.
